To ensure it is waterproof up to 10.000mm we used a 100% polyester brushed tricot with laminated membrane, which with addition of the full sized hood, adjustable wrist bands and an adjustable cord around the waist, makes this smock a great choice for any outdoor pursuits. Using brushed tricot material also results in an easily foldable and lightweight garment which can save some much needed space in your backpack. The Junior Galbraith Smock is a well designed all year round outer layer and because it is breathable up to 1000g/m2*24hr you can use it during mild conditions or wear over your fleece or hoodie. The large front pocket and two angled lower pockets with waterproofed zips will give you plenty of space to fit your phone, a pair of small binoculars and any other portable equipment.
