Classic, buttoned chest pockets easily accommodate items such as a penknife, tinder, compass, etc. Flat loops can be used to tie and secure items carried in pockets. Woodsman has two internal mesh pockets and one Napoleon-style, zippered. The shirt itself is fastened with Canadian buttons sewn on with strong tape.
